FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

We already have an in-house IT department, can you still help?
Yes, we can. GenIX services clients with varying needs and we pride ourselves on creating tailored solutions for any of your business needs. Recently, one of our clients who has an in-house team needed help on a large project migration to Office 365. We provided the resources and training necessary to complete the job. During the consultation, we plan with your in-house team focusing on the best interest of your business’ goals.
We do not need a full-time person; can you still accommodate?

We sure can. GenIX offers many levels of support. We do recommend (and often mandate) regular on-site support to ensure updates are current and the systems are working most efficiently. You know the saying, “A stitch in time saves nine?” Having an engineer regularly familiar with your system can save headaches down the road. However, this means we can have an engineer on-site bi-weekly or forty hours a week. We will work with you to decide what makes the most sense for your needs and budget.

What industries do you support?

Gen IX supports a wide range of clients in various industries. Those include Private Equity, Law Firms, Architecture, and Start-Ups to name a few. We offer personalized support to small-and medium sized businesses in the LA-area, and online support globally.

I have a small budget; does it make sense to outsource?

Yes, it does. Many times, outsourcing your IT will be much less expensive than hiring a full-time IT employee. Rather than paying a salary and benefits, businesses choose to outsource with GenIX for the organization’s unique needs. We work with you so that you understand the ROI and we pride ourselves on full-cost transparency.

How do we start our relationship?

I am glad you asked! Give us a call or send us an email. Our new client team will set up a call to discuss your priorities and IT needs. If it makes sense, we visit you on-site and complete an IT assessment of your current configuration. From there, we tailor a plan of what we think makes the most sense moving forward. If it is not a fit, no hard feelings. If it is, welcome to the family.

I am not a “tech person.” What can you do for my business?

We understand a lot of business owners aren’t “tech people,” and are sometimes confused by what they need or what solutions a IT company provides. We want to make everything from the language to the project cost transparent and understandable. Basically, GenIX provides end-to-end IT solutions; that means if you need a better data storage system or want us to handle everything “techie,” we have you covered.
